A peaceful Island

Hanimaadhoo is a 45 minute local flight from Velana International airport. Hosting one of the three International Airports in Maldives, Hanimaadhoo currently has direct flights from Cochin and Trivendrum India in addition to the local flights from Velana International Airport. Once you arrive on Hanimaadhoo our staff will escort you for the 15 minute car ride to Viluveli Holiday Retreat. The name Hanimaadhoo literally means “long big island” and thus you can find long stretches of white sandy beaches and clear blue waters. Hanimaadhoo offers a variety of vibrant forest areas, secluded beaches, a bikini beach and family friendly lagoons. The town is small but hosts a variety of local restaurants and everyone is extremely warm and welcoming. Please wear proper cover ups like rash guards and shorts while swimming on the beaches and around the town. The Bikini beach is a short walk from the Viluveli property. Alcoholic drinks are not allowed on inhabited islands.

Estancia fantástica en un entorno paradisiaco y un servicio inmejorable El servicio del hotel fue inmejorable desde el principio hasta el fin, desde recibirnos con toallas humedas y cocos para beber a ayudarnos con facturar en el viaje de vuelta. Durante la estancia todo el momento nos sentimos acompañados y ayudados por el servicio. El hotel está situado en una isla habitada con pocos habitantes pero ya al entrar sorprende el espacio de piscina y hamacas en el centro de la estancia. Las habitaciones con vistas a la playa, amplisimas con todas las comodidades incluido aire acondicionado. Las comidas preparadas día a día por un gran chef que se preocupaba por conocer nuestros gustos y servido.Teniamos muchas actividades programadas que fueron maravillosas y otras que nos ayudaron a organizar desde alli. Si no estuvieran las Malvinas tan lejos, sería un destino para repetir una y otra vez.

Holiday at Viluveli Our family had a lovely time at Viluveli. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. The pool was a bonus and the place was very homely. Loved the activities from fishing to picnic at sandbank. Looking forward to visiting Viluveli again

Лучше, чем вы можете представить! Останавливались компанией в этом прекрасном месте на 5 дней (3+2 дня в начале и конце отдыха соответственно). Остров средний по размерам, а поэтому от аэропорта около 10 минут на такси. Это совсем новый гостевой дом, который с лёгкостью можно отнести к современному 4-звездочному отелю, разместился на небольшой, но очень уютной и зелёной территории с бассейном. Нам достался номер с прямым видом на океан и балконом. Сам номер совсем новый, большой и оснащён всем, что вам может понадобиться. Кровать большая, матрас - супер комфортный, постельное белье чистейшее, по 3 полотенца на человека, пляжные полотенца можно получить на ресепшене. Общее впечатление - номер лучше, чем на острове-резорте рядом и значительно лучше, чем вам предложат во многих гестхаусах на локальных островах поблизости от Ханнимаду. У нас было включено 3-х разовое питание, а также напитки в мини-баре в номере. В первый день у нас уточнили наши предпочтения (в том числе по остроте блюд) и есть ли на что-то аллергия. Готовят к выбранному времени. Кухня местная (различные карри и классические мальдивские блюда и закуски), рыба на гриле, мясо, птица + фрукты на десерт, свежевыжатые соки, чай, кофе (в том числе из кофемашины) - голодными не останетесь...

I stayed here with a friend almost immediately after they opened their guesthouse. They could not have been more accommodating, and truly showed us Island hospitality that you travel so far for. The chef made delicious meals for us. The owner showed us all around. The grounds were beautiful complete with a lovely lush garden and pool. And the beach is immediately accesible outside. Truly can't recommend this place enough on both the overall product/service and amenities offered.
